About EMDR For Kids

Helping kids heal from trauma takes more than just skill—it takes heart, creativity, and resilience.

Every day, therapists like you show up to support kids through their biggest emotions and toughest experiences, guiding them toward safety, confidence, and healing. We see you, and we know how hard this work can be.

Christine Mark-Griffin, a licensed clinical social worker, EMDR consultant, and EMDRIA advanced trainer, founded EMDR For Kids because she’s been where you are. Like many therapists, she realized that traditional EMDR training wasn’t enough when working with young clients. She struggled to find engaging, child-friendly EMDR resources, so she created them herself.

Now, EMDR For Kids is a space where therapists can find the tools, training, and support they need to make EMDR therapy more accessible and effective for children. Whether you’re looking for advanced training, consultation, or interactive resources, we’re here to help you feel confident, prepared, and inspired in your work with kids.

Because when therapists feel supported, kids heal better—and that’s what we’re all about.
