If your child or teen is feeling overwhelmed, withdrawn, or struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, irritability, or anger, you’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to stay this hard. These challenges are often rooted in deeper emotional pain and stress, even if they’re not always easy to see or talk about.
I work with kids and teens to help them better understand their emotions, build confidence, and develop healthier ways to cope. We’ll move at your child’s pace, prioritizing a strong, trusting relationship so they feel safe before exploring more difficult experiences.
My approach integrates evidence-based and developmentally appropriate therapies, including parts work, EMDR, emotion-focused and attachment-based therapy, along with creative modalities like art, sand tray, and play. I also partner with parents/caregivers, offering guidance and support so you feel equipped to help your child outside of sessions.
Finding the right therapist for your child can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a space where your child feels safe, understood, and valued, and where you feel supported as well. I welcome collaboration and feedback, and encourage you to reach out to schedule an intro call or try a few sessions to see if it’s the right fit.
I completed EMDR training specialized in kids & adolescents through the EMDR Institute in early 2024.
Thank you! – Elizabeth
