Upcoming Offerings September 25, 2023 10 AM - 12 PM PST October 2, 2023 10AM - 12PM PST November 6, 2023 10AM - 12PM PST March 4, 2024 10AM- 12PM PST Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced Who Should Attend: Social Workers, Psychologists, Counselors , Marriage & Family Therapists, Other Mental Health Professionals Pre-requisite: Clinicians must have completed Basic EMDR Training to register This training will help clinicians explore a variety of creative ways to engage children in phase 1 and 2 of EMDR therapy. Participants will learn creative ways to help children identify target problems in phase 1. Participants will also be presented with an array of creative ideas to introduce child friendly explanations of EMDR, child friendly bilateral stimulation and coping strategies. Learning Objectives : -Describe different approaches to engaging children in treatment planning phase -Explain EMDR with child friendly language and age appropriate adaptations -Describe a variety of child friendly bilateral stimulation and adaptations 2 CEs Offered: Professionals can obtain their CEs by visiting Ce-Classes.com. Licensed Professionals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. There are no known conflicts of interests for this workshop.
