The Tolly the Turtle Posters are intended for use by EMDR Trained Therapists as a supplemental tool for helping children and their caregivers understand regulation. This two-poster set includes the Turtle of Tolerance for Kids and the Window of Tolerance for Grown Ups. With colorful visuals and simple language, these posters explain what it looks like to be “In the Zone,” “Shut Down,” or “Out of Control.” Tolly the Turtle helps children recognize signs of hyperarousal and hypoarousal, while the grown-up version guides caregivers in identifying their own regulation patterns. Together, these posters support shared understanding and connection between children and adults in the healing process.
