I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who offers warm, trauma-informed therapy for children and teens. I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I work to create a space where kids and teens feel safe, understood, and cared for, just as they are.
I specialize in EMDR therapy and am also an EMDR Consultant. My work is attachment-focused and thoughtfully blends EMDR with play therapy, sand tray, parts work, and somatic approaches. This allows children and teens to gently process experiences that may feel confusing or overwhelming, even when words are hard to find. Sessions often include creativity, movement, and body-based support to help young people feel more regulated, connected, and secure.
I have experience supporting children, teens, and families with trauma, anxiety, big emotions, attachment challenges, and relational stress. I work closely with parents and caregivers, including foster and adoptive families, and offer strengths-based, adoption-competent care. I provide affirming care to LGBTQ+ youth and families and approach my work with an empowering, decolonizing lens that honors each child’s lived experience.
