Privacy Notice

Please contact the therapist directly using the information provided in their profile. Do not include personal health information, diagnoses, symptoms, trauma history, treatment history, or other sensitive information in communications with EMDR for Kids. EMDR for Kids is a therapist directory and does not provide clinical services or collect client intake information.

One of Amy’s greatest passions is supporting clients who have experienced trauma and has found EMDR to be one of her greatest tools. Amy was first trained in EMDR in 2004 by the EMDR Institute and is a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant in Training. She has taken many advanced trainings in EMDR protocols including Attachment-Focused EMDR Level 2 and 3 (Parnell Institute), Applying Advanced EMDR Tools for Dissociation, Avoidance and Shame (EMDR and Beyond), Somatic EMDR Certification (Embody Lab), Integrating IFS into your EMDR Practice (Kendahl Hart), and Adapting EMDR for work with children (EMDR for Kids, Ana Gomez, Playful EMDR). These have helped her master ways to help both adults and children process and heal from challenging experiences. Amy obtained her CA MFT license in 2008 and has over 15 years experience working with clients in private practice, school, and day treatment settings. She recently relocated to Boulder, CO where she continues her work with adults, children and families. She is excited to support therapists by who are on the road to EMDR Certification or who just want to deepen their work, and offers both individual and group EMDR consultation. Please reach out for more information.
